Mixed C4 selective hydrogenation catalyst
In the C4 comprehensive utilization process, the butadiene and alkynes contained in the mixed C4 are often toxic substances in the reaction process and need to be removed.
Catalytic selective hydrogenation is an effective method for removing butadiene and alkynes from mixed C4 materials. Under the action of a catalyst, the reaction of H2 hydrogenation with butadiene and alkynes to generate corresponding monoolefins can remove butadiene and alkynes from mixed C4 raw materials. During this process, if special interference is not carried out, usually 35% to 40% of butene-1 isomers are butene-2, which will lead to changes in the content of butene-1 and butene-2 in the hydrogenation product.
A common mixed C4 feedstock selective hydrogenation catalyst is suitable for processes that require the removal of butadiene and alkynes, as long as there is no requirement for the respective proportions of butene-1 and butene-2 in the hydrogenation products. For example, pretreatment of raw materials for producing methyl ethyl ketone, pretreatment of raw materials for isobutane dehydrogenation, and pretreatment of raw materials for C4 olefin isomerization.
This catalyst is suitable for the above process.
